I feel like a total slacker !! I was so excited to finally start a blog and life threw a few curve balls and I haven't made a post since :(
I plan on posting a few disposable fountain pen reviews coming up soon. Being a total new comer I hope my point of view will strike a chord with other rookies and maybe even give you veterans a new perspective on these entry level pens.
Please check back soon I hope to have my first review posted within the next few days.
Thanks for stopping by :)

So it begins....
My first official post, I've been excited and a bit nervous to actually write something. I guess I would like to lay out what I hope to blog about. I teach high school and since my time in school I've always loved that time of year when I got to go buy my new school supplies. I still get nostalgic thinking about it. Fortunately as a teacher I still have the opportunity to have that same feeling. I know I drive my family nuts, my daughter is a freshman in college and I'm all too willing to help her with her school supply purchases.
I plan on writing about the topics I enjoy. Pens, pencils and stationary. As I said I'm a teacher and so my budget is limited. I'm also just starting to brave the world of fountain pens so I'll be writing from a novice prospective. I plan to review some of the items I love to use and explore as many new ones as I'm able to. I hope you vets will feel free to give me guidance on my journey.
I would love to hear from any of you who have similar interests or ideas of things for me to try out.
Thanks for stopping by.
